Wombats - which stole my heart big time
This is the last blog from Oz after spending nearly 5 months in this lovely country.
The last three weeks have been spent here based in Queensland with Ron & Jen, we met them for the first time 4 years ago in Western Australia and have kept up the friendship since then.
This was the first time we had the opportunity to come and stay with them in their fabulous home and meet their family and friends and experience living a typical Queensland life, can't thank you enough R & J for being so hospitable :-) :-) we shall miss you.
It has also given us the chance to discover all the lovely new rellies we didnt know we had and to be shocked to realise there are probably more of them here in Oz than in Cornwall!
As you can see from the photos we have been having a great time and we will be very sorry to leave, but visas are running out and we need to move on towards home.
Off on Tuesday to the Cook Islands for a couple of very lazy watery weeks, after which we are flying onto LA and heading out to New Mexico
