We have reached the Tropic of Capricorn not that one would notice cause its still blooming cold especially the evenings. Have only sat outside once so far with our sweet camping table which is pretty crazy to say the least.

Went surfing (see photo. I know even for me it was a no wave situation but hey I am standing) at the last spot before heading into weird territory of absolutely no waves, hardly any water to be seen at low tide, crocs and stinger warnings. And cause no local wants to commit in saying its safe to swim, we are chickening out.

Had a great kayak session near Yeppon yesterday and saw heaps of "maybe" crocs in water.

Now in Rocky to get some springs fitted for camper so we can oodle and doodle over wild terrain easier.

Have done some more Yoga classes in Gladstone and have been swimming heaps of laps around the differnt places we get to.

Great friendly people everywhere or maybe they just feel sorry for us southerners.

Wanted to go to Heron island for the turtles and some R&R. They have super cheap winter deals but the wind picked up the rain set in yet once again and hey that's no fun on an island.

NEWS TRAVELS FAST
I hear you're now in the Gulf, from Mum via phone. Definitely faster than the internet here! I almost signed up to a Big Pond upgrade, but cancelled, didn't trust them when they said it would be better. Also i DIDN'T WANT TO commit to a product I couldn't try out . Anyway news from here. Renovations to downstairs are almost done. Flat is advertised tomorrow in paper. I sure hope it rents out soon. Nissan has broken down and I need funds to fix it. Fixed Feroza light and brakes and am now driving it. Pedro has moved into van and is happy to continue working on gazibo. Tamara has decided to paint and renovate while waiting for property to be rescheduled as Tamborine Mountain and will put it on the market at a higher price. She and Mark are now hoping to go to Ireland for a holiday next year and are working towards that. They've just been away to Fingal Head for the weekend ( on Tweed entrance). I did the car boot sale around the corner at the Tamborine Sports Ground last weekend, there's very little money around. Its a good spot for me, but needs more advertising. Hope you got my messages for your birthday Geof, happy travels, Christine
