Well we left the coast behind and zig zagged around inland all the way to Longreach and Winton than did a sharp right hand turn and back towards the coast. Reached Townsville today and got 2 spanking new super tyres which means we don't hobble anymore we FLY.
Inland was absolutely great. The people, the stars, the waterholes, the dust, the cattle on the road, the emus chasing us, ah the road-trains and the wobbly cobbly local cowboys. Slept in lovely spots under the open sky, rode the bike on dusty roads overtaking road trains. Nearly took on a job selling ice creams at the Mt Isa Rodeo but the timing was wrong.
Well - there are true blue grey nomads out there that's for sure. We feel like little chickens just hatching in amongst the brood.
We flew a simulator plane at the Qantas centre in Long Reach which was pretty special looked at the Stockman's Hall of Fame, did not find myself there as yet, found the waltzing matilda man in Winton or was it the next town ? Anyhow in the end it's all just nice to be here and see and smell and explore.
Swam in some pools in tiny little towns and they even had some hot health springss. Lost my voice cause its all just too awesome
So time to attach a few photos to make it come alive. From here onwards along the coast for a bit.

Hello from Noosa
Hi dear friends, thanks so much for your news and photos. I love to read your blog. I can't help imagining it in a German accent. GG is arriving here tomorrow and then we are spending time in Brisbane at the Greasefest Rockabilly Festival before driving home over four days❤❤❤
