A day out and about exploring the Capricorn Coast beaches and towns. Went initially to Yeppoon and then on to the Rydges Resort to check out the golf course. The Pro Am Classic is held there each year. Other stops included the Rosslyn Bay Marina and Emu Park for lunch before returning to Rockhampton and having a quick look at the city centre. Hot and tired by then so will have to have a better look tomorrow.

Singing Ship Monument commemorates Captain Cook’s explorations of the area. The sea breeze produces musical sounds via the holes in the pipes.
