Waiting is definitly not for the impatient.

Ok so here we are at Magnetic Island, been here now for 2 weeks; initially we decided it could end up being a long stay, you know waiting for those winds to come through and and push us comfortably South; ......well, change of plan; we found that there are so many times you can walk the same tracks and sit on the same patch of sand on the beach just watching the tides rolling in and out; of course in between all this there is that urge of thirst which in turn twists your elbow and entices you to spend your dollar at the local pub.....
Yes, definitly time to battle our way through the prevailing SE winds and pray for the occasional E/NE wind to guide us, like I said a little more comfortably South.
So, next stop is a choice between Cape Cleveland or make a long run for Bowling Green......
