Lake McKenzie...Lake McKenzie...Lake McKenzie...

...Swam it. Fool.
So, another day, another blog!! I've just been on a 3 day jeep safari of Fraser Island, the worlds' largest sand island. Got to drive around in big toyota landcruisers with 9 other people and generally have a laugh.

On the first day we went to lake Mckenzie. Beautiful white sands, crystal clear, blue, fresh water. At one point we saw 5 people swimming accross the lake. Although they were about half way, foolishly claimed that I could still beat them to the other side, forgetting that I stopped training a good 9 years ago!!! "Go on then" was the unsurprising response. So I did. Hurrah for me! It was a lot further than it looked though....

First night was particularly entertaining. We camped up near another group from a rival company, who had much flimsier tents than us. They came to join us for a bit of a party, and when one returned to their campsite, they found two of their tents ripped to shreds and their stuff scattered all around. The damn dingos continued to cause hassle throughout the night!!

Anyway, I'm in Brisbane now, back to Sydney tomorrow, then onto Singapore. Solo Simon's being as

...With wreck
organised as usual, so I'm still not really sure what's happening when I get there!!!

I'll let you all know!!!

P.S. Can you all raise your glasses to Steve Irwin and his family...
