Having planned to take the day to drive to Hervey Bay from 1770 we went in search of the rural more scenic route down the coast via the famous rum making town of Bundaberg which offered "a diverse range of attractions" according to the guide book! It is now four years since we arrived in Australia and it continues to feel like we are on a very long holiday! Since moving over here we have opened doors to new friendships, career moves, family visits and new opportunities it has been a roller coaster of a journey but one we embrace and work towards making it even more successful.
