Cairns is a very nice town with plenty to do in it. I flew in here from Alice Springs with Miriam from heidelberg germany who was on the Uluru trip with me and coincidently the same flight to Cairns. She met up with her mate Jamie from the usa and we hung around for a few days. We did a tour of the rainforest up there and it was a cool day out. Hi chris, cairns is great isn't it? got the diving looks great. I suppose you will finish the east coast and start working in sydney??? don't miss freysard island on the way down. That's great trip with the 4* wheel drive. your travel look fantastic and i have to say the motorbike trip in cambodia was the most nerve recking one. But to see cambodia and vietnam by bike must be the best experience. enjoy the holiday my friend, Sicco in dublin enjoying the dublin summer here
