Wheres that shark when you need him Here we are again, arrived in carins to lovely sunshine and a friendly smile at airport, good first impressions. We had booked an apartment for 4 days as we could not bare another hostel distaster so soon. Apartment was just as cheap and when we got there it was really lovely very clean with 3 pools and very near town. In the evening we took walk down to the town for a meal, it was very nice so much better than we expected. We arranged to do our trips we booked for a trip to the great barrier reef and a trip upto the karunda rain forest and village. The Monday we set off for our boat trip to the great barrier reef, it was the best day yet. We sailed out to reef where everyone could either dive or snorkel. We chose to snorkel the sea was so clear and blue but i was scared of any photos circulating of me in a wet suit. so i kept hold of camara. I went out for a short swim and snorkel and stan went for even longer you can see so much it really is something to see. We then were

so much choice which one shall i have fed on board and went to the next reef, we decided that we would take a helicopter ride over the reef and wow it really was the best view ever. And we even saw a shark. On the trip back to harbour the entertainment was in full swing and a great day was had by all. The next day tuesday we took a trip to the rain forest, went up by train which wound itself around the mountain. we got to the village and went to see the Koalas which was the highlight for me. and then we took the skytrain down the mountain, stan loved it taking photos galore, i was sat rigid scared to move (god i am getting like my mum). another fanastic day and must admit have changed mind a little about australia. Still now we move on to sydney tomorrow so will update from there.
Just want to say to Dan well done on passing your driving test really proud of you miss you loads. And lisa miss you loads speak to you both soon. everyone take care xxx
