So, we got the "scenic railway tour" return trip to Kuranda up in the rainforest to meet lots of indigenous people and see lots of wildlife and beautiful scenic views on the journey up there.
As you can see, I had to put the Koala photos first as they are THE BEST!!!! They are such sweet things! They just literally sit in your arms and snuggle you. I had to pay extra to hold it and have a professional photo with it, we were allowed to take extra photos with our own camera, I was just passing Mr Koala over to Chris to hold and the girl who thought she was in charge said we had to pay EVEN MORE just for Chris to hold!?!?! They dont half rip you off at these places. . . it was nice to hold though. . . .😊 I think I would like one.
We went to a bat reserve place where there were loads of Flying Foxes that could just come and get some food and mend themselves from injury if they had been caught in some barbed wire or something. I never really like bats, but they were actually
AMAZING - their wings are so big and they are very very cute when they are little babies.
We are planning on buying a didgereedoo - there were a few people in Kuranda trying to flog us them - we have been taught how to play them buy this guy who has a shop just down the road from where we are staying in Cairns. The sound is amazing.

Glad you made it to Karunda, What a fantastic place it is We had koala photo taken with the same backcloth as yours it was probably the same bear, did it have a buttrefly tatoo on it's behind? How about the return trip, did you come back on the sky train over the rain forest? Look forward to hearing your next adventure. Latest rumours are L,Pool will sign either Henri, or Owen, my guess it is likely to be Owen. God Bless Good Luck,G,Dad G/Mumxxx
