Hey!

Last leg of our Greyhound tour! Left Noosa early morning for a short 2 hour drive to Brisbane where we picked up our Nomad Campervan! As always tour rep didn't give us the full story when we booked the Campervan in Cairns and there were a few hidden extras other than the insurance we were just expecting but at least we have very good insurance on this one! i.e. covered for all eventualities excpet swerving for animals! So unfortunately Kanga will get it!
Drove to find the Koala Sanctuary in preparation for tomorrow and also went to find a campsite close by. Found Koala Sanctuary fine, campsite however was a little more tricky...stopped off at a nearby park to decide where to go and asked a man walking his dog for the best place to go he said that all campsites were quite far away from where we were and we would be going completely out of our way from the Koala sanctuary - great! he offered his drive way for us to park up in overnight but we didn't want to impose and also wasn't completely sure as you would never kip on a strangers drive way for the night back home!! After a couple of hours driving around and still no joy we returned to the park and asked another woman who was walking her very cute dog - Baxter - after explaining our story she too offered us her drive way as long as we didn't need any amenities - woman was very nice and lived with her young son Luke and had the nicest house! We parked up outside and she insisted we used her bathroom and shower - we insisted we were ok but she wouldn't take no for an answer! she even left her front door open for us to go into the house if we needed anything else and to shower in the morning - there are some nice people left in the world! On leaving we left her a thank you card. Off to the Koala Sanctuary....so excited!! xx

Your Mad !!!!
Hi to you both, Just been reading your comments about the nice lady and her son Luke with Gary (he is bored). You are both completely mad and i'm glad you chose the womans drive instead of the man, who knows what he would have left his door open for you for !!!! Seen the pics of the lovely animal your hugging, must say better looking than some of the guys you have gone for in the past. well must go and shake Gary off and do some work, take care and can't wait to read more. P.s. Gary wants to know where his christmas present is, the one from Circus Circus, i have told him to wait until March but you know what he's like. Love to you both xxx
