Hello All
We arrived in Noosa in what felt like a couple of hours (5 though in total) and watched a ridiculously stupid film, a disney one where theres 2 little friends and one dies - a little bit like my girl - J had given up halfway through so was suprised to turn around and see me blubbering (I know you will be laughing at me for this KC and I felt particularly stupid because there were attractive men getting on/off at Rainbow Beach)
We got the shuttle bus to Dolphins Hostel where we were greeted by the news that we didn't have a twin room for 2 nights as booked a week previously and the most unhelpful sarcastic cow! She told us the only option was a 4 dorm room, so we went to have a look and saw that we would be staying on the top of bunk beds with old men underneath - no thanks! We both agreed immediately to move somewhere else and luckily with alot of asking for help she found us somewhere on the next beach down - sunrise. Luckily it actually turned out to be for the best and we knew it straight away when a little old lady came to pick us up and was talking all about her family run business that she had been running for 26 years - the accomodation was bathroom and kitchen share but our own twin room - this means we got to cook our own breakfast, lunch and dinner (pasta woo hoo - both nights) the beach was in spitting distance and looked just like something out of home and away - it even had it's own surf club! 😊
We bought a 4 litre case of wine for 6 pound - the best bargain yet and just so you don't think we are alcoholics we had to pack it up and bring to Brisbane as we hadn't even got through half.
We went to sample the nightlife and really nice place but you would have to have alot of money for a big night out so just settled for 2 glasses of wine that lasted a while - live music in a posh seafront bar was brilliant, it's the 1st time we have seen women in heels for ages!
The next day we went to the beach for a relaxing day but only lasted 40 minutes as it was so hot so instead climbed to Laguna lookout - stunning view of the place but gutted that the camera doesn't catch it anything as good as real life, then did some shopping - well, as much as you can do when you are a backpacker!! Stayed in and watched Skycaptain with 2 of the other houseguests - what a pants film that was! Off to Brisbane tomorrow... 😊 😊

Love you all.
