Didn't think much of Surfers paradise (the ibiza of australia). Not keen on 24 hour drinking and scottish girls fighting in the streets we got the first bus out of there heading North. Now having a stop over in Brisbane before heading further north to Noosa then on to Fraser island for a two day tour in a 4x4 bus which we booked earlier today along with a 14 berth sailing boat called the Dreamcatcher which cruises around the Whitsunday islands for three days! After which we go to cairns for rapid rafting and a luxury apartment to ourselves.
Got pretty sunburnt yesterday so been in the shade today. Travelling north in a bus for most of tomorrow so will have more time to let the redness brown off, hopefully!

Sweet dreams one and all. I'm off to bed after a quick dip.

G'day possums
This all sounds amazing - you have managed to fit more into 3 weeks than I have in 3 years here! Weather is gorgeous in Sydney too so I'm glad you are getting some sun. Don't forget to pack as many slabs of beer as you can carry for the Whitsundays cruise - think of how much you'll need and then triple it, as you'll get through your first estimate on the first night! like Soufend
Yeah, Surfers Paradise similar to Soufend on a Saturday Summer night, only not quite as warm! But the rest of Queensland spectacular, is it not?! If you get the chance, visit the croc park in Cairns, tacky but a good laugh.............and certainly do Karunda railway and skytrain. Get the piccies of the cruise posted, bet you had the BESTEST time ever! I know you've been worrying about tiles (hahaha), they look FABULOUS, so stop fretting and enjoy the rest of your hols.
