Woke at 7am this morning and still managed to leave Kulgera
at 8.30. Sunny day with no clouds to be seen.
Got fuel at Erldunda and Nat got a lesson talking to emus. We arrived in
Alice Springs around 12 and had to top up on groceries and fuel. We decided to
buy lunch and David & Nat logged in to do footy tips. On our way again with
a stop at the Tropic of Capricorn. We arrived at our free camp Connors Well and
being the 1st to arrive we got a great spot for the night. Lots and
lots of flies. We had to drag out the fly nets for our heads. BBQ tea was
great. Nice night here but lots of moths as Jen and I are sitting outside
typing away while the guys are in the van watching a movie. At least it is
keeping us awake tonight. Not many photos yet as there is really not much to
see besides countryside even though we love this scenery.

Your footy tipping brainstorming worked quite well - 4 each, which was 1 more than me. If only you got this message before the weekend. What is that on Nat's head - he needs to toughen up :)
