27/9/09 Off early & on the way to Uluru, we plan to stay 2 nights along the way, just outside of Alice we saw 2 Dingos by the road which was a first for us. We also saw about 5 big eagles in a tree, boy are they big. Since in the NT we have noticed that there is not as much road kill, I don’t know if there are not a s many road trains to kill the Roo’s. Let us introduce ourselves, my name is Michelle & my Hubby’s name is Dennis & we have travelled half way round Australia with our dogs (that we lost this year). We have two grown up sons both married to great girls & they live in the country so we don’t see them much. We have 3 Beautiful grandkids & 1 beautiful Great Grandchild, we are known as GG’s . Hi, your travels sound fantastic, my husband and daughter are heading there next month, flying up and campervanning around for a few days - thanks for the info on the free spots to camp, all dollars saved means more drink and food to eat...lol! Cheers Millie
