Territory Day 2006

Aaahhhh yes.....Territory Day.

The only 2 days of the year where you can buy fireworks in the NT (and good one's not just crackers) the 30th of june and the 1st of July, Territory day.

It just happen to fall on the same day Azza and I decided to have a Housewarming party!!

I modified the BBQ as so it would fit the roast, cleaned the house, stocked up of beer/food/fireworks. and we were set.

The photo's tell most of the stories, Kevlar helmet's with fireworks strapped to them ect. The back yard only caught on fire twice! But no injuries.

What would encourage you to strap a firework to your helment, and wear it around your backyard???!!! I'm sure alot of your old mates like Jack and Jim would have helped that decision!!! I'm happy you didn't burn your eyebrows like an old story that Jodie told me many days ago!!! Good to see your having fun up there. Just be prepared to do it all again when I get up there!!

Looks like you modified your barbaque really good. So you can cook the lamb roast when I come to visit ! yeah! Your house looks good. Good to see you are actually putting stuff (like the dart board) up. Fireworks look cool. Glad you didn't burn you eyebrows ....... hahah. Take care. Love, Mom
