After a lovely seafood dinner on Saturday night Sunday was a lazy day, with shopping in the morning and a trip to the wave pool in the afternoon. Craig and Allison, our neighbours at the caravan park were heading to the Darwin Cup too so we organised to spend the day together.

The set up at the racecourse is fantastic with shade cloth "marquees" running the length of the straight with tables and chairs. We managed to find a table free which was fantastic and made this our base for the day. We couldn't quite see the track from our table. We had a few bets and came out about even for the day - John's pick in Race 5 being the best payout we had !!

It is time to leave Darwin so we will be packing up and heading to Crab Claw for a few days to catch up with Ian & Lou before we start heading home.
