Hi everyone,
well, another leg of the journey is over and we think that it was of the coolest (yet hottest) legs we had .
We arrived Darwin on last Tuesday, (After 22 hours ride in a bus ....) . Eventually we found a guesthouse (after a small elephant journey) and went to the city center . This is really cool city .
On Thursday we took our car and headed for Kakudo NP . It's Australia largest park (and the one with the many crocodiles in it), So we went searching for them . At the beginning we found many Aboriginal rock paintings, great views around the park and tons tons tons of mosquitos . I think they were excited to find Israelies so they bite us as hard as they could .
We did a very cool crouise in Yellow river (inside the park) and there we found them . They were sitting on the bank but they seemed very frightning . We were quite close to them (as you can see from the photos) and it was very intersting .
After finishing the Kakadu we went to another park called Litchfield (or
Hirshfeild as Chen decided) . We saw there termite mounds 3 times the highet of Elad, but the best part was a chain of small ponds and waterfalls we could swim and relax . It was the nicest day so far .
We're again in Darwin, waiting for a flight to Sydney (at 1:40 am ...) .
Hoping that you're fine (we're definatly are ...) .
Miss you,
and BTW - Big City (and hopfully some koallas) - Here we come !!!
Chen & Elad .
