We arrived at Bi Centennial park, just north of Ballina on 12th march, It is an overnight rest area with pretty good facilities and just behind the park are some amazing wetlands, we snapped some great pics, and yes it was actually raining in the wetlands, well derr, just as we had to deal with Neanderthal Slasherman at Broady, we had a pretty scary night when "Sus Boy" rocked up in tyre screeching ute, late in the afternoon, and just acted suspiciously dumb. Later that night I found a large hunting knife in the dunnys and a scream mask sitting on a rock behind our R.V. What sicko did this? Suffice to say we slept with both eyes wide open, we were happy to see morning with all our body parts intact and no sign of crazy man in ute. Late afternoon we headed off to the Ballina jetty for a spot of fishing, we got onto the herring jigs and in no time we had some livies for bait to entice the local finned ones, Well well well, if it isn't lucked in Basho chiming in with 2 very nice bream for the evening meal and poor Bilbo, is still

what sicko did this, hunting knife left in dunny, scream mask left outside r.v and susboy doing wheelies in the car park. we were glad to wake up with all our body parts intact.
yet to open his piscatorial account, but as it stands Basho hooks them and Bilbo cooks them,

We met our first introduced traveller next morning, "Poodle Lady" travels in a Hiace camper with 2 loyal poodles for good company. Long story short, she was ripped off by dodgy accountant in the early 90's to the tune of $300,000, lost the lot, business, house, everything, with what little money she could scrape up, she bought a campervan and hit the road with her two lovable canine companions, like that was over 20 years ago, so there must be something very good about the vagabond life on the "frog and toad", I am sure we are about to discover some more amazing people and places, as our life on the road unfolds, so join us for our coming adventures and enjoy the ride, big love to family and friends, Bilbo and Basho.
