Leaving Sydney

Well a busy day but full of action. Arrived at airport, completed checkin and departed 1215. 75 minutes later Sydney was on the horizon the opera house, harbor bridge, and ship were all visible. Having landed and we located the train arriving at circular quay by 325pm. 

We chose to checkin on the ship first, complete with customs registration. Finally we got on board to see our room. As we wanted to see a little of Sydney before departure we alighted the ship until 6pm and walked dockside along the Rocks towards the harbor bridge.

Once back on the ship we had a BBQ tea on the Lido desk poolside prior to departure at 630. We went to the open top deck to enjoy the reverse move from the quay then out toward the Sydney  Heads. A rather windy overcast departure but still very picturesque.  

Just now we've returned to our cabin to read up on the activities this floating city offers - including a casino!  Mmm many staircases to navigate between the eight decks very easy to get disorientated.
