Day 36

Having packed up ready to leave Great Aussie Backpackers we caught the ferry from Circular Quay to Manly Beach, so called because when it was discovered it was populated with aboriginees who, standing topless, looked very 'manly', so we had high expectations for the 'views'! However, as per usual with our beach trips, the weather was not on our side and we spent a rather chilly few hours huddled on the beach determined to sit it out! But we soon decided that fish and chips were a better option!! The sun came out just as we were leaving and so we enjoyed the views back into Sydney taking yet more opera house snaps!! Then the time finally came to board the overnight bus....we were a little worried as all the seats had been allocated and Elin and Becky were next to eachother with Camilla by herself a few seats in front. As it turned out however Camilla got the best deal as the seat next to her remained empty and for once she slept better than Elin and Becky combined!!!
