We caught our bus at 9.15am. It was a long trip with a lot of stops. At around 2pm we got onto our train for 3 more hours. Was shattered and very hot by the time we got there.
With our bags we went in search for somewhere to stay. After 2 or 3 that were too expensive and 2 that were booked up we came across Homebase. A real s**t hole! It was disgusting and dirty. But was fed up of carrying bags and walking in the heat that we booked into a dorm there. Luckily it was only for one night. That eveing after dinner. (shepards pie in a tin and curry in a tin) we went out for a couple of drinks, but neither of us were really in a good mood. So we only went to one bar. On our way we checked what time the Qantas office was open tomorrow as we had to change our paper flight tickets as we had changed it on the system for flights tomorrow afternoon. Oh my goodness it was not open on Saturdays! A great way to top off a not so good day. We knew that we could change our tickets at the airport but it would cost us more than the $25 each. Oh well we had no choice.
We took a walk down to the harbour and took a couple of photos of the opera house by night, which looked quite nice.
Then back to hostel to bed.

Woo Hoo! We are finally leaving Sydney!
That morning we had our 'free included' breakfast, which consisted of 2 loaves of bread for the whole hostel.
We went into the centre because we wanted to join this organisation we had heard about from an english guy in Dubbo. It's called WWOOF, willing workers on organic farms. This cost us $65 for the 2 of us and that gave us a book with thousands of farms across Australia that take people to work for 4 to 6 hours a day for free accomodation and food and you live with the family. Most of them only take 2 people. So we are very excited about this.
We got our bus and got to the airport at 12ish. We asked a guy about changing our tickets, he said just go and check in and they will just scribble

on your tickets!! It cost us nothing!!!! We won't be changing them at Qantas anymore!! Very pleased about this.
Well we got on the plane at 13.05 and was in Brisbane in an hour! We are now only 10 hours infront of England.
