The War Veteran Club
We've been pretty busy over the past few days and realize we haven't sent any recent updates. Well, the weather hasn't been quite as amazing as we've grown used to. Both Chris and I developed common colds and were doing a lot of sitting around watching movies: Harsh Times (insane movie), and Die Another Day (James Bond Rules). Though we've recovered efficiently in time for our departure to the Gold Coast.
Last thursday chris and I went out to the pub and for the first time in our natural born lives, we played the slots. Which i am proud to say, I won five dollars in....yeeaah. Though, the pub was actually a war veteran hangout and we were accompanied by atleast half of the Mona Vale Senior's Retirement Home. Oh well.
About two nights ago, the weather forecast warned all about a huge storm hitting the northern beaches that all should look to avoid. Of course, we had to see this hands on. Silas, Chris and I drove down to Mono Vale beach for the lightning show of the decade and took some beautiful pictures. Check them out.
It was a surreal and frightening experience that kicked ass, seey'all up the coast.
