A day to myself in Sydney sadly the weather was really wet so decided not do the Bridge Climb but rather spent the day walking around and discovering the city I seem to walk for miles but a great way to see everything The main Street is George Street which runs north to south and is the main shopping area I discovered the Museum of Sydney and Museum of Contempary Art The Royal Theatre in King Street and Town Hall Then past St Andrew's Cathedral and into China Town Next to the East and to the Darlinghurst area before returning to Sydney Tower in Pitt Street to get an amazing ariel view of the city Its the second tallest tower in the Southern Hemisphere I also saw the monorail which travels around the cental area of the city From there I headed to Hyde Park and through The Domain and into The Royal Botanical Garden and Government House before returning to Circular Key at Sydney Cove with more great views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera house Quite a rample through the city which took me most of the day but very enjoyable to ample and take it all in The
city seems very friendly and easy to get about and above all safe and interesting but lacking in many old historical building which we so much take for granted in the UK
Tomorrow I am really looking forward to my early morning backstage tour at the Opera House....
