Meeting Old Friends

Sydney is also a place for meeting old friends! Wendey and Sue (Russell's old work colleagues) moved to Australia in the last two years and we meet them on the steps of the Opera house. A lovely two days was had by all, specially the fab meal we all ate by the harbour bridge, Hilary getting a taste for kangaroo stake!
We had a really interesting tour around the famous Opera house and walked through the botanic gardens- Very beautiful despite the rain.
They showed us 'The Rocks', the oldest part of Sydney with great bars, resturants and shops.
We all caught the bus to Bondi beach the next day and had lunch watching the surfers. A picture postcard walk around the bay and we said goodbye to our old friends until next time.
