This is located in Sydney, right next to a park.
While we were in Sydney we visited several different places and they were all quite different. The first place that we stayed in was called Kings Cross, this was in the red light district of Sydney. Kings Cross was very different to say the least. Our hostel was pretty nice, we had our own bathroom and kitchen, something extremely rare in hostels. When we looked out of our window from our room we had a great view of a group of prostitutes drug dealers, and all-around low lifes that basically lived on the corner, this was a very unfamiliar sight for me along with the rest us. While we were in Kings Cross we basically just took in the sights of Sydney: the Rocks, the Australian Hotel, and of course, The Opera House. After our time in Kings Cross we went up to a small mountain town called Katoomba, this is the closest city to the Blue Mountains. Our hostel in Katoomba was voted the best hostel in Australia in 2005, it was unbelievable. There was a movie theatre, pool tables, foosball tables, extremely nice rooms, and, my personal favorite, a life-size chess board. We were in Katoomba for two

days, almost all of which was spent at the Blue Mountains. Once we had all of the Blue Mountains that we could we headed back to Sydney to enjoy more of the city. Our second hostel in Sydney was much much nicer than the first. We were right next to a club that we went to and hung out and partied with the cast from MTV's Real World. The next morning we woke up and went to Bondi Beach, it is every bit amazing as everyone says. After two more days in Sydney it was time to head back to the Gold Coast. All things considered, Sydney has been my favorite site thus far.
