View of the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge
On our way to the Opera House we walked through the Sydney Botanical Gardens. While in the Botanical Gardens we saw an enormous group of bats. This might sound dull to everyone, but the bats here have a good 3 foot wingspan, quite a difference from what we are used to back at home. As for the Opera House, words cannot accurately describe it and the pictures do it no justice, it is truely remarkable. One unique thing that I learned about the Opera House was that the architect, Jorn Utzon, has never actually seen the building. In fact, he has never seen any of the buildings in person that he has designed despite wining several awards for them.

Bat's tpo
Alex...we saw the bats also only it was at night and we were coming back from the girls soccer match and had no clue of what they were. We were really scared at first but then when we saw all the locals just acting normal we figured things were cool....then I asked what they were and when someone told me bats....I realized things were not so cool and I was scared again.
