O.K, so we weren't far away in the first place, but we mean right into the heart of Sydney City Centre!! It looks like something out of the Jetsons! Guys we're living on Mars!! We are also now officially Australian citizens! We have the documentation! And I'm not talking about visa sh*t, or our sim cards or even our Ozzy bank accounts! (tho that is pretty cool!) No, we have got the one thing that secures our existence.... a Blockbuster's card!!
Anyways, Sydney is way cool as a City! There's live music pretty much every night somewhere, and not shit either! We've seen some pretty class acts! At one of the local jam nights we ended up chating to the percussionist and consequently landed our selves at one of sydneys hottest house party's!! We've never seen anything like it!! At one point the living room consisted of a drum kit, 4 saxophones, guitars, bass, various percussionists and vocalists taking it in turn to sing/rap/whatever!! lots of drinking, a kitchen full of booze, and a bath tub full of champagne!! (of which Grace had one away at the end of the night...you can't take her anywhere!! Ron/Becca, I blame
you!!) And could we find one person who lived there?...no!
Appart from the live music we haven't found any beats worthy of dancing to yet! Went to a night on Tuesday called "bent" (and it was! Phil! you would have loved it! and you Bennett!!) Which was the best dance music we've heard yet! But there was far too much mincing for Lloyd to feel comfortable enough to get up and strut his funky stuff! (Grace is laughing at me now!) However!! We are gonna get a chance to go ravin'!! (had to happen soon enuf!) Lee Coombs is touring Oz and were going to his Sydney debut tommorrow.....oh dear... !!
As for work, its been pretty tough trying to get a job in catering here on account of our short period of stay and my stupid hair! (Lloyd, not Grace! I know you were wondering!) But all is not lost! Grace is working a really nice Italian Pizza pasta restaurant (which is soooo busy!!) with all the free pizza we can eat, and I managed to land myself a job with a catering firm doing big functions!(and yes stoney! 14hr days, fingers down to bloody
stumps etc, you know me!) The last was a charity dinner for 1,000 people for the Steve Waugh Trust, (the cricketer, I've never heard of him! Terry, I'm sorry!). Guests were expected to pay $1,000 a head!! Russell Crowe decided he didn't want truffles in his potatoes! Must be nice to be rich enuf to not have truffles, (yup! I cooked for Russell Crowe & Leo Sayer!!)!!
Well! as interesting as Sydney is, and as cool as the Opera house looks (its HUGE!!) us simple folks were much more impressed and amused by the comedy signs the city kindly handed us in tribute to ourselves and our friends! Guys! We miss you all HEAPS!!... Enjoy! XXX

I want to see pictures of Ron Bennett fine clothing for men too! The Bent night sounds like a laugh, keep your eye out for the Sydney Mardi Gras march which happens on the 3rd March... looks like a fucking ace party- and take some photos for me! Anywho, glad to hear you guys are getting on well, and well done Lloyd for bagging your celebrity chef status! (well, almost, but lets swing with this one, to make you feel good about yourself!) And Grace, don't eat all the pizzas, otherwise you'll get really fat and then no-one will like you anymore! You have been warned! (although, please note, the author of this comment assumes no responsibility for offending anyone who happens to read this and get narked off, coz it's a joke, sort of) Anywho, looking forward to further tales from the land of Oz... Take it easy guys! Lots of love Phil xxx
