Merry Xmas to all those people sitting in the cold and fog back in Blighty!
We have had a great day - the 4 of us went to an English (ish) Pub in Oxford Square called The Gaff and had a proper English roast and a "couple" of beers.
We met a big group of Irish folks from Tipperary and just had a "couple" of beers together.
We also met a couple from Woking, who know Clare's Mum's salon. Clare got soooooo over the top and excited and now most of Sydney is expecting a 10% discount at Barbary's salon next time they are in the UK.
She stood on a chair in the middle of the bar proclaiming - "Oh my god, oh my god - I can't believe you know the Barbary's salon - that's my mum's place - look look look at my debit card - this proves it - I'M CLARE BARBARY"
She had only had a "couple of drinks"
She had a rest on the pavement for a few minutes after this. Charlotte beat her round the head a few times with the Santa hat and that seemed to work.
We'll update all these blogs properly when we stop having so much fun and get a few minutes this week!
We are currently in Katoomba in the Blue Mountains in the YHA - which is great - an old Art Deco style building.

A belated happy Christmas and New year guys. Nice one Clare, showing then the debit card is the type of authentication you cannot argue with. You will find though that as you travel to other parts of the world that people know the Barbarys! I don't know why but they just do! Was at your dad and mums place during Boxing day and we say your DVD of the dive. Absolutely brilliant, had me wishing I was nnn years younger so I could have tried to do something similar.
