Prague apartment

32 days and counting! I downloaded a desktop counter today and it tells me to the second how long we have to go till we fly away! A couple changes to our itinerary. We're no longer taking the train everywhere! From Amsterdam we now fly to Frankfurt and then instead of going to Bern & Zurich we're going to fly from Frankfurt to Prague!!!! I'm so excited about Prague! EVERYONE says it's beautiful there...and also cheap because they don't use the Euro. We're staying in Wenceslas Sqaure in a self-contained apartment for 4 nights. We'll probably just relax, maybe do a day tour or two, eat and drink lots because it's so cheap! Once our 4 nights are up we fly straight to Munich to meet Nat & Adam. So what's left to do? Cosmos Grand European tour

Big week this week! We're going to pay for our flights. Our tours are already paid and booked and we're very happy to know that the tour date is now a guaranteed departure. YAY! So what have I been doing over the past week? Well all the hotels are booked except those in Switzerland. We're staying with the Etap Hotels chain and you can't book them more than 100 days ahead. I have to wait till March or something. Here's where we're staying: * Singapore - Rendezvous Hotel * London - Regent Palace Hotel, Picadilly Circus (can't get anymore central than this place, I hope it's decent!) * Amsterdam - Ibis hotel (Western Corner or something like that) * Frankfurt - NH City Centre hotel (got this hotel BEFORE they raised the prices for the WC! ... read more

Hi all, Decided to get a Travelblog. I know...it's a bit early...but you all know how I am! Just going to try and figure it out before we actually go! When are we going? We are leaving Sydney on Sat, May 13 2006 on Singapore Airlines. Here's a rough guide of what is planned so far: - Sydney to Singapore, 3 nights stay (including day visit to Sentosa Island) - Singapore to London, 3 nights stay - 21 day Cosmos Grand European tour - 2 nights in London (watching Opening WC game in a pub somewhere) - 1 night in Amsterdam (watching the Netherlands WC game in a pub somewhere) - 2 nights in Frankfurt (including the AUS vs Japan game in Kaiserslautern) - 1 night in Bern (watching the Switzerland WC game in a pub ... read more
