Hi All,

Just a quick update to let you know that me and Caroline have arrived OK at our hostel in Newtown, Sydney. It's a bit more crappy than their website made out so we will only stay here for a week instead of the month as first thought before moving on to somewhere nicer.

Football starts tonight so will be meeting up with Ollie and the boys tomorrow night for some sherberts and the first England game. Should be a great laugh and have been looking forward to it for ages.

The drive down here was an uneventful 1,100km 3 day drive and fairly unspectacular considering the other 20,000km I have driven around the rest of Australia. Got a couple of sunset photos to upload later on and saw my first wombat in the wild - although it was dead!!! 😞

Oh well, there's always Sydney Zoo!
