We set off pretty early in the morning and strolled around the city stopping at Darling Harbour for a spot of sushi. Ricky was desperate to visit the warship on the Thames back home but we never got round to it, so promised I would visit the one here in Sydney.
There is a museum, a warship and a submarine, all of which I wasn’t that excited about seeing. Much to my surprise, it was pretty cool. I don’t think I had ever been on either a warship or a submarine - anyway, we made the most of it and joined in the tour which lasted about 2 hours. It was so interesting. Even more interesting was that the submarine was built in Greenock!!
After a quick shower and change we got back to Darling Harbour where our cruise would leave from pier 26. The cruise allowed us to really appreciate Sydney Harbour a lot more than we did the night previous. It really is the best way to see it…..and the pina coladas really go down well! The cruise lasted about 2 hours, so enough time for a few cocktails we returned just as the sun went down.
Aye Aye!!??
Lovely boys! Dinner……..was absolutely fab! Just on the way back to the hotel, we noticed the biggest and busiest Chinese restaurant, so thought we should follow the crowd and see what the fuss was all about! I was called the Seafood Palace and it was called that for a very good reason. We got to pick out our prawns from the fish tank. Nice.
Fed and very well watered, we got back to the hotel where I was given my third envelope!!
