Bondi Beach

Today was the day we had to check out one of Australias most famous beaches - Bondi beach, for Tom's birthday. He had to go surfing! We got there and said in all seriousness, 'Is that it??' The sand was nice, obviously much nicer than back home, is was only a small bay and we didn't really understand what all the hype is all about. I also had my first ice cream since iv been out here! We had a bit of a problem trying to light the candles for toms birthday coz he wudnt leave the room!! but we managed it and the $3 chocolate cake from Woolworths was great!
