Lions and Tigers and Byron - oh my!

Hi All!
After 11 hours on the coach we're in the desert that is Byron. We spent the afternoon in the cinema to get some air-con! (and some Denzel - Deja Vu is pretty good).
Byron seem pretty chilled out and is a total beach bum town. I've so far only sampled the shopping but have bought many a treat!
I believe we're trekking out to Nimbin tomorrow, which i'm looking forward to. The hostel is no palace! There's a pool with a milky sort of water. It's so hot that I'm sorry to say, i did have a little splash. Hope I've caught no diseases as a result!
Off to a bar called Cheeky Monkies tonight. I should fit right in.

Harvey! Marvellous to read the blog and see the pics. You are brown already - get in! Sounds like you're having your dream holiday with a menagerie of animals (pet detective) so am v dot pleased for you. I await further details of the Lord of the Rings adventure and shall hope you bump into Elijah at some point. Frankly I think you could do better than a hobbit but I know we differ there. All is well here - off to Bath tomorrow for work and then Leo has a "surprise" planned for Thurs. Eek. We saw Apocalypto last week which is brill - hope you catch it on the plane or summat. Keep up the writing - it brightens up life at the desk where I await the fulfilment of Papa Harvey's prediction about being cast aside on the scrap heap of society. Hi Bex, Sounds like you're having an action packed time - you'll need another hol when you get back! As always am v jealous of your wicked travels and impressed with your intrepid nature you star you.
