Lake Burley Griffin
It was raining when we arrived at the Water's Edge Restaurant, literally a few feet from the lake shore.Today we used the drizzly weather conditions as an excuse to have some down time from our tourist activities. In the morning we hit the gym for a much-needed workout after our feast last night at Christine and Mariano's house. Mike spent some time preparing for his work duties tomorrow and Maureen went to the pool for some swimming and water aerobics. The afternoon was spent reading, doing Sudoku puzzles and watching foreign movies. In the evening we had dinner with Mike's colleagues--Peter, Rachel, Michelle, Eleanora and Michael--at a lovely restaurant called Water's Edge on Lake Burley Griffin. We've eaten more in the last two days than we have all week!
