Bessy's Wedding - the night before...

Tensions were high the night before the wedding - and that was just the relatives! We arrived at Belconnen AMF Bowling in sunny Canberra (after an adventurous lap of honour but that’s another story…) for a Marman vs Smith bowl-off. The Marmans started off in fine form with Mikey, Lisa and Bevan cutting up the lanes with some fantastic displays of bowling. The Smith family weren’t so bad themselves, although there were rumours of illegal substitutions. Undeterred, the Marmans pushed on and won with an average of just over 1 point per player. Well done all those involved, not to mention the support team. Our team went on to play another game and finished in fine form - I dare say a credit to the Marman side? He he he…
