Piracy still continues today because for some people it is their way life or their way to get money. They still continue because of the men, weaponary, money, and hostages they take. The authorities are tring to solve the problem destroying the pirate's bases, ships, and killing them. I don't think there is another solution because the pirates won't stop by just talking. They can also be stopped by force. I don't think it's justifiable because the pirates are stealing from other people that's worth a lot of money. They also take people's lives.
