Time period: the 90s
Around this time period my sister says that during this time period there was a lot of danger where she lived. Every now and then you would here people her age being killed. Although this still applies today back then it was closer to everyone surroundings. The neighborhoods were unsafe. Te places that are safe now weren't during the time she was a teenager. Life was really hard for a teenager especially if they wanted to go to a good school. Noble was not open yet, so it was hard to get into a good non selective school. Also not a lot of people she was close to went to college. However she attended college and finished her masters at northeastern. At the time that was great especially since she came from wells. A public high school that was not at it's best during my sisters high school life.
