3. Decade of Choice:-90's in Mexico

4. Describe the environment in which you lived for that decade.- A beautiful place. - Loma Linda, Mexico- Community based- Run by families- Traditions ( St. Ignacio de Loyola: - Little violence

5. What major activities did you participate in?- Parties- Close down streets all night in order to party- In college- Protest in order for high school to not school (peaceful)

6. What were the major social issues of that decade?- Equal Rights- Higher minimum wage (30 pesos = 3 dollars) $120 pesos a week.- Students protested about the cost of attending college

7. What was the biggest turning point for you during that decade? Why- Me! 😊- Separation of parents, mother left to the U.S.A and father stayed in Mexico.

*Both made her mature more. She learned that life has its ups and downs. Open her eyes to the real world.
