I do agree with Castiglione's description of the ideal man. In his description a man is well rounded. Women are also included in his description because he said men should respect women. Besides women he describes a man to be athletic, social, caring, and positive. I think Castiglione described men to be the way he did because there needed to be a change. It was the time of rebirth or known as the renaissance. Men or the ideal man needed to be altered for a better leader. I believe a leader should be loved because a leader does not need to be feared in order to be followed. People are truly not following their leader if the leader is being feared; the followers are just scared. A well known leader in history is Adolf Hitler. He was a leader that was feared. He killed so many harmless people and others only followed him in sake of their lives. In past history classes we have learned of the holocaust and everything that Adolf Hitler did.
