I choose to do research on the Mesoamerican Mayans because it was the civilization that I knew least about.

The leader was the Ajaw and everyone ales was below him.

Art
The Mesoamerican Mayans had art but it wasn't like painting or drawings or anything like that. Their art was more like cravens and reliefs made of stucco.
They were also very known for the huge pyramids the built.

Writing
The Mesoamerican Mayans created the first most common form of writing their writing was called hieroglyphs. It was made up of certain signs and letters.

Religion
The Mesoamerican Mayans believed in many gods so they were polytheistic. They also believe in human sacruifice to make their gods happy and then by making them happy they were able to get what they wanted. They also based their religion on a calendar they created.

City
The Mesoamerican Mayans society was set up as little states with certain bigger "kingdoms" ruling them.
