I have always seen males and females to be equal. Although we are very different in character we should still treat people with the out most respect. However there are still some things that remain "sexist": not treating males and females as equals.
1. This article relates to what we are learning in my World History class because in the article "Why do women get paid less than men?" By Laura Fitzpatrick, because we can clearly see how women get label with roles. In the Stone Age people began giving women roles. Now we are still applying these roles on the women.
2. I learned, from this article was that women get paid only 77 cents of a man's dollar. A women may have the same abilities as men but still get paid less.
3. This article made me realize how we are still very traditional. We are still applying the roles that we did in the beginning. Is paying a girl less fair? Shouldn't a women have the same rights as men? I honestly do not think it is fair for women.
