After spending two days in Carleton-sur-mer with hot sunshine and great weather, we were happy to finally leave Quebec and move into NB. We checked things out quickly the night before at the campground playground with Lucca running around (sidebar: there is truly not much he can't climb up now) and Felix in the baby backpack. We decided to do the 250kms or so to take us through Campbellton and Bathurst to get us to Caraquet, in the Acadian Peninsula. We are going to be spending 3 days there in what seems to be Toddler club med...complete with water slides right on the beach. The campground is huge and is called Camping Colibri. We're going to be doing a day trip to the Acadian Isle from there. We have come to figure out in a short time that its best to have areas for Lucca to burn LOTS of energy. He has two modes: sleeping and outside 😊 keep you posted...xxx la familia.
