Gary finally arrived at 2:30 am. I only know this because the yard light shines in the bedroom.

After much puttering and swearing, he slept til 6 and after more swearing and tinkering, we filled the gas tanks (breakfast and unleaded), we are headed to the first destination, North Platte, NE, 544 miles.(thanks jane).

Fred and Ethel said, 'We knew there was something up when were checkin' out the tinkering and mom shut the bedroom door blocking access to food and sand.' Together they plotted an escape attempt, but were thwarted by a water sprayer at the door.
