Arrived in Alaska

Well we have arrived in Anchorage after two great days in Chicago. Its a lovely city and gave us a chance to relax after the 8 hour flight and 6 hour time difference. Then onto Anchorage - 6 hour flight and 3 hour time difference!

The bike is here all in one piece and now fueled and set up ready to go. To get in the mood today we are off on a glacier cruise and whale watching. This is "just down the road". Translation - About an hour and a half away through the longest tunnel in North America that is shared with Trains and is a single carriageway. So we have to be there for our turn. Your have to ride between the rails and apparently you are not allowed to play chicken with the trains.

Bit of prep and final meeting tomorrow and a welcome barbecue with the local bike club and then off at 8am Sunday Morning.
