Deer Park Country Club
This is a beautiful place!
Spokane is a beautiful city located along the Spokane River. There are so many golf courses here it is difficult to decide which ones to play. Spokane is touted to have some of the best golfing in the greater Inland Northwest, plus the great outdoors, fresh air, quiet ambiance, and views of the nearby snow capped mountains where every hole is a kodak moment ! We played at Chewelah Golf and Country Club as well as Deer Park Golf Club in the Spokane area. The majestic mountains here are covered with gigantic bull pine trees that are over 75 feet tall. They receive very little snow here and the summers are warm in the day and cool in the evening. We parked just off the 9th hole tee box in our motorhome and enjoyed the beautiful park like setting surrounding the golf course, club house, pool and spa. What a gorgeous place!
We met a lovely couple here, Retta and Gene Shelby. They are great golfers and make it a pleasure to spend the day on the course . I could live here!
