I left the motel at about 9. It's hard to get out of bed when you do not know when you sleep like a person again. I fill my bottles with ice from the machine of the motel and go. In one hour the ie was gone and I have made a purchase in the way and continued. In Nashville some ice cream and a pull to the next city, by the way a lady who was watering his garden has filled my bottles, temperature about 35 degrees or more and some headwind or sidewind. Finally after a late meal in Pinckneyville I've done a few miles with backwind and I've gotten to a site that is certainly there, because it is in the guide, at about 4:30, that is, one hour before my time to find accommodation. According to my search on google the next campsite is 30 miles in the next state, too risky. I just found out that there is a state park about 8 miles, which would have been a good option, but I really like the state parks are very basic camping, sometimes without showers and baths hole in the ground, and they charge in around 20 dollars like in a posh camping. Here there is no internet, for the old man here actually I think there is enough that he has electricity. But he is nice, he wanted to give me his map of United States, Canada and Mexico. Quite a fat book and only shows highways and the like. And I was charged only $ 10.
