The dominant religion in America is Catholic. Catholic differs from other world religion in many ways. Such as their priest take the vow of celibacy and veneration of saints, use of crucifix, and the use of rosary beads in prayers. As a Catholic you have to observe seven sacrament which are religious rituals believed to be commanded by God and effective in the conferring grace of the believer. The vow of celibacy is a practice rooted in the papacy's early connections with monasticism

This religion which is Catholic is very different or unique from other religions in the world because they hold to the doctrine of the trinity, the divinity of Christ, the inspiration of the bible and many more things. One thing that makes Catholic so unique from other religion is the authority that they give the pope, the ability of saints to intercede on behalf of the believers. Also the doctrine of transubstantiation that is that the bread used in Eucharist becomes the truly body of christ.
