So yes, Las Vegas is a really crazy city. Seriously the craziest one I've experienced in my life (so far..)
This is the almighty city where all your dreams (and even things you were not dreaming about) come true.
Make sure your wallet is big enough because spendind 100$/h is pretty easy overthere...
So, I arrived there after experiencing Death Valley. Back to life ! Not to reality because this city is unreal.
Except the strip, you have nothing to do. Maybe going to the "Old Vegas", the dirty place with dodgy casinos and nothing-to-loose gamblers.
1st evening I made it quiet, waiting for the guy Vince the day after to experience the city in proper manner.
Just met a guy who was waiting midnight to get paid and be able to gamble always more. Funny one.
2nd day, Vince arrived. Heading the the Hotel Montecarlo (we are french, aren't we ??), a bit of rest and going for a city tour. You can walk hours without noticing because you get blind with all things around. Totally crazy. Shows everywhere, thousands of lost people in the streets, it is just mad. And you don't have to visit Europe, as
it is a complete copy-paste of the most touristic place (I advise to go to the Paris-Paris, the NY-NY, the Caesar Palace and the Venezio. you will be surprised how good they have done it).
Then after diner at the Paris-Paris (did I say that we are real french ??), let's go gambling at Bellagio! Blackjack, nothing else. Lost a couple of banknotes there... thanks God, the slots machines helped me to save back some dollars..No club for tonight, just gambling. Til late.
The day after, straight to the swimming pool. Typical US style, djs playing loud electronica, playmates dancing all-around the pool, festival of tatoos and waisted people. Funny but not the best to relax.
Heading to MGM for a bit of clubbin', at Studio 54. Pretty good, nice djs, good boozes and superb girls. Thumbs up for Vince, the french lover at his best. After getting some girls, we moved to the Palms. Best club in town: Loungy with a big open-roof terrasse allowing an amazing view on the strip. Cocktails, cocktails and cocktails. And then a bit of gambling at Mandalay Bay (blackjack again...) before finishing the night at MonteCarlo. What time is it ? No clue.
That's the crazy thing with Vegas. Whatever the time, you always have people playing at the casino, dancing, eating etc. It's a pure 24/7.
Basically you are happy when the last day arrives. Your wallet too.
Some tips:
Bellagio has some 5$ and 10$ blackjack tables. Your 1st 100$ last longer... Otherwise it is 20$ a stack...
Never plan your evening. You always meet people having other plans.
Get some cash and forget your credit card. Or call the bank before you take your credit card with you.
Make sure you know your room number. You have over 1000 rooms in each hotel..
I won't give all details of the weekend, Vince will never forgive me otherwise...
