Current State Every so often, we feel badly about how seldom we are posting for this trip. However, it only lasts a minute because we realize very, very quickly that our fun and the uniqueness of our time together takes precedence over anything. Ahh...life does not always follow the plan. We are a happily married couple for 21 years. We had many plans for retirement. But alas, many health issues have crept into Jerry's life. Thanks to Rita's great company with very supportive colleagues, her request for a six month personal leave of absence was granted. We are now retired, albeit 'only' for six months. We will need to continue to deal with Jerry's health issues as we proceed - a new one just added the last two months - but with doctors' blessings for now, we are embarking to fulfill as much of "Jerry's Bucket List"... full info

It's hard to imagine folks like these in the display taking the whole Route 66 with everything they own packed up, expecting better lives out west. Hopefully, they found it back then.

Yes, I can just hear you two! How much fun is that! Loved the latest update and will wait to see more. We had some freezing rain this morning but is supposed to turn to all rain. Tomorrow is a high of 49 with rain and the Wed is sunny with a whopping high of 29. Hope you can stop by!
